![]() ![]() ![]() Cost is not an issue any more - it's only an issue for people that don't care what console they get and just want to be able to play next-gen games, then they see the initial price of the 360 as a big plus. Built in wifi, free online, I've said these things a thousand times. PS3 does cost more than 360 but you get more bang for your buck. Obviously if I had a 360 I'd pick up a few other games, on XBL and otherwise, to get more out of the console, but my point is for me the PS3 has much more games that tickle my fancy (and yes I love FPS games, the PS3 has better ones IMO). Personally the only 360 games I would have are Fable 2 and Castle Crashers. No, 360 has the better games in your opinion. Lulz, you say you dont have the $ to buy a 360, yet 360s have the superior games (Castle Crashers, Lost and the Damned, and more) and PS3s cost lots more than 360s. I'm not saying, "DO IT BEHEMOTH!!! PORT THIS F'ING AWESOME GAME!!!" All I'm doing is just pointing out things, possibilities, and considerations for the developers and publishers. But then you gotta take into consideration that it could be downloaded for free (warez). Port the code, caress it properly, and they could make an army of Benjamins off of it just by expanding the game onto the PS3, or even the Wii! Hell, they should do it for PC, too! Lots of people have average PC's that could definitely handle a game like this. ![]() Then you get people who tell there friends on PSN, or at work, or at school, who tell other friends how good the game is, and those friends tell other friends, then you could make a huge bang for your buck. So if you have five hundred thousand people (I'm just throwing a number out there) who have anticipated and want this game, and you sell the game for $10 (the usual price for a PSN game), then you can make a good flow of cash. There's lots of people (including me) who would love to play this game, but not to pay an extra $200+ just to play this one game. Money talks and marketers could take a glance at the possibilities. It just means that they could look into it.īesides, there could be an incentive to port it for the PS3. I also found something that might enlighten some people, but at the same time give false hope: "Don't have an Xbox 360 but still want to play Castle Crashers? I overheard Tom saying there's no reason the title couldn't come out for whatever platform Sony has up their sleeve." ( he-castle-crashers-test/) Now that doesn't immediately confirm that CC is coming out for the PSN. But if they do port it then they shouldn't just throw it on the PS3 (if you get what I mean). It's a simple-looking game so it's not like they're pushing the hardware in any way. They made Alien Hominid for the PS2 and Xbox, so I don't see why they won't be able put it onto the PS3. So porting the game shouldn't take long, or cost that much. That means: planning, coding, testing, and finalizing the game. It took two years for it to go onto XBL, it would take probably two more years to post it onto PSN. Anything would be appreciated.I'm a little late but. I have a friend that loves to play this too and I'd love to play with him. It's so uncomfortable.ĭo I need to use an official xbox controller? That or will one of those adapters for wireless controllers work? Will a different program work? I got this on this summer's sale ($1.49, I believe), so it's not that big a loss, but I'd really like to play this. The program is 'DS4 to XInput Wrapper.' I tried playing this on my keyboard, but I just can't. I've read that some games require some input that xbox controllers use, so I downloaded one of those input emulators (and a test application, which says it's working) and it's still like how I said in the second paragraph. ![]() I didn't try magic yet because this bothered me too much. X on Ps4 is like B on xbox (backs out of menus and such), Circle on Ps4 is A on xbox (selecting and jumping), Triangle on Ps4 is like X on xbox (heavy attack), and Square on Ps4 is like Y on xbox (light attack). However, my Ps4 controller doesn't work the way I was expecting. I bought this game (even though I have it + all DLcs on my xbox) because this game is awesome and maybe I could actually find someone to play with online. ![]()
